One of our themed weeks during the Spring Term was ‘The World in Which We Live’ and what a celebration it was! We started the week with an assembly on diversity, culture and identity by Mr Millard, which encouraged deeper thought about who we are, where we come from and why kindness, tolerance and mutual respect matter.

The Big World in Which We Live Quiz, tested the girls’ general world knowledge and all students also took part in a debate on the topic “How should we represent our colonial past?”

The week ended with a Dress for Diversity mufti day, which raised funds for the Tonga Emergency Appeal. The celebration of cultures, identities and nationalities on display was fantastic. Thank you to all who participated.
