Last weekend students from Year 10 – 12 completed four days of trainingĀ and practice for their DofE Silver expedition.

Here are what a few of the Year 10 participants had to say:

“I found the training for the DofE really fun because we all bonded along and we all supported one another. At the end of the day our feet ached so much but we all sat down together and relaxed until we had to make dinner!”

“It was the best time and the instructors were really kind and we connected more with each other and nature.”

“Camping was a fantastic experience; every morning and evening was pleasant and full of delight. It was wonderful to interact with everyone, including nature; there were a few sore muscles, but overall, I am proud, thrilled and fully prepared”.Ā
