From 12th-14th October, the Geography GCSE students travelled to Taunton for our fieldwork investigation which is a big part of our coursework. While there, we explored Taunton’s central business district, learned about erosion and longshore drift in Porlock Bay, and managed to climb an enormous hill from which we practised field sketching. We stayed in Nettlecombe Court, where we had the chance to interact with other schools and have lessons with our tutor. Overall, it was a great experience.

Thank you to Mr Arres, Miss Bassi and Mrs Brett for accompanying us.
