And the tour choir made it to Tuscany! Obstacles and challenges would prove no match for the upbeat and optimistic cohort who set off at the uncivilised hour of 03.00 from Heathrow airport. Once we landed we were greeted with the warm air and the buzz of the Italian spirit. The pupils sang in an array of beautiful churches in Siena and San Gimignano, to name but a few, and enjoyed sightseeing, learning about the history and culture of the area and swimming, walking and being one with nature. Highlights included the local pizza, gelato and the infamous bonfire on the last evening. Karoke and laughter filled the air.

A huge thanks to pupils, parents and staff for making this another trip to remember.
